How To Handle Jesus In Homeschooling

By Ryan Sanders

Religion is slowly being removed from the school curriculum. It becomes confusing when your children have to live with derogatory terms being thrown around regarding creationism. This is why teaching Jesus in homeschooling is the only option available to parents. It gives you a chance to impart positive and Christian based values to the kid while at the same time avoiding the confusion that comes from mixed schooling.

Home schooling offers many other advantages. This is your only chance to take charge of the knowledge that your child interacts with, ensuring that it is in line with admissible moral principles. The behaviors of your children will never surprise you since you controlled their formation. Even if the curriculum is determined by the government to a certain extent, you are the one delivering it and will therefore determine the mindset of your kid.

Learning under the watch of a parent and family members is fun. When the idea that learning is fun is implanted in the mind of a young one, the thirst to learn more grows. After all, the little chap will not have to endure cold morning, hectic bus rides and the cruelty of schooling, among other inconveniences of public schooling. This will instill a positive learning attitude in the child enabling him to pursue education further in future. His prospects in life will be raised significantly.

Since family members will be around the child during schooling, their bond grows stronger. How else can you inculcate the element of family and values in a child apart from spending as much time with her as possible? This is the opportunity given by homeschooling. The child grows up knowing that the family is the source of all virtues and will forever value it.

The content of public schooling is determined by governments and learning institutions. The child is only left to follow a routine. The schedule does not appreciate changing seasons, ability and even the feeling of the child. Allowing a child to school at home gives you a chance to enhance such talents as athletics, art, music and others that are given little importance in public systems. This grows the confidence of your child tremendously.

The school today is dangerous and laden with ills. It becomes the nursery for introduction to drugs, violence, bullying and other harmful traits. The element of Christianity is totally withdrawn. The home provides an excellent opportunity to shield children from such vices. In fact, you not only teach these values but demonstrate the Christian life you would like the children to emulate.

The bible teaches more about character than what people display in public. There is no better way to inculcate character and good behavior than teaching the child from home. The kid has no chance to copy wrong examples from other children or grown ups like teachers and other adults in school.

Faith and belief mold the character of children. With their removal from public curriculum, it is uncertain where children are expected to draw their morals from. Homeschooling becomes your best option if you want to bring up children who are virtuous and of a solid character. By controlling his early learning environment, you provide a solid future for the child.
